Limited Lifetime Warranty Terms and Conditions

Coverage:

TEKO® EV (“Company”) provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for new electric golf carts, including associated batteries and vehicle chassis, against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies to parts only and is available exclusively to the original purchaser. Subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions outlined in this warranty, TEKO EV Corporation (“TEKO EV”) guarantees that any new vehicle or component purchased from TEKO® EV, or an Authorized Dealer or Distributor will be free from material and workmanship defects under normal usage and service conditions for the durations specified below.

Warranty Period:

The warranty period begins on the retail date of purchase for the vehicle. For vehicles used in rental fleets, please refer to the Rental/Commercial Limited Warranty.

Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover the following:

• Maintenance and Wear – Routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, proper tire pressure, or cosmetic deterioration.
• Damage – Caused by neglect, abuse, accidents, unapproved parts or accessories, or external events (e.g., vandalism, natural disasters).
• Unauthorized Repairs – Repairs performed outside approved dealer locations, except when performed by dealer personnel at the customer’s residence.
• Transportation Costs – Expenses for transporting vehicles to/ from service locations.
• Wear Items – Components subject to regular wear, such as:
  • Fuses, decals (excluding safety decals), light bulbs, lubricants, trim pieces, seats, brake shoes, brushes, bushings, mats, pads, tires, and maintenance adjustments.
• Cosmetic and Environmental Damage – Includes deterioration caused by exposure to environmental elements, ordinary wear and tear, or improper storage (e.g., paint fading from sun exposure).

Warranty Void Conditions:

The warranty may become void if the vehicle or battery shows signs of the following:

• Neglected maintenance or use contrary to the guidelines in the Operator’s (Owner’s) Manual.
• Use of non-OEM (unapproved) parts, modifications, or alterations.
• Installation of non-approved electrical components.

Battery Warranty and Specifics:

• The amp hour warranty period is maintained and recorded by TEKO® EV.
• Warranty claims related to batteries require testing as specified by TEKO® EV.
• The warranty will be voided if non-factory additions or modifications are made directly to the batteries.
• The 8-year full replacement battery warranty is applicable only to personal-use vehicles and does not cover commercial-use vehicles. *

Sole Remedy:

In the event of a defect, TEKO® EV will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part using original OEM or reconditioned parts. Defective parts replaced under this warranty become the property of TEKO® EV and must be returned upon request.

Liability:

TEKO® EV is not responsible for indirect damages, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage resulting from product defects. All legal claims must be submitted within three months of the origin date of the warranty claim.

Reserved Rights

TEKO® EV retains the right to:

• Inspect vehicles and assess warranty claims at its discretion.
• Modify designs or components without obligation to update previous products.

DISCLAIMER:

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE. TEKO® EV MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE THAT EXCEED THE OBLIGATIONS OR TIME LIMITS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED. THE REPAIR OF A DEFECTIVE VEHICLE OR ITS COMPONENTS IS THE SOLE REMEDY PROVIDED TO THE PURCHASER. TEKO® EV DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY REPRESENTATIVE, EMPLOYEE, DISTRIBUTOR, OR DEALER TO MAKE OR IMPLY REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR AGREEMENTS THAT VARY THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.

WARNING:

ANY MODIFICATIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO THE VEHICLE BEYOND FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING CHANGES THAT AFFECT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION, STABILITY, OR SPEED, CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. SUCH MODIFICATIONS WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY IN ITS ENTIRETY.
